MELONS
To just simply talk about "melons", wouldn't help much, since there are over 50 types. You probably know at least a handful, but even within the same type of melon there are also many varieties. Below is the list of our melons and info about each and every one of them. An overall note to anyone wishing to grow melons, is that - along with cucumbers and other fruits in this family, they can be tricky to grow in humid climates, due to the fact that they are extremely susceptible to various molds and diseases that thrive in the tropics. If grown in the tropics, higher altitudes are also better, so they can escape the worst of the heat we have here at the lower levels. So have patience, when you grow them, and as always, feel free to ask us questions
